The Key of Solomon (Clavicula Salomonis) is, arguably, the most famous and important of all Grimoires, or handbooks of Magic. It was translated by S. Liddell MacGregor Mathers, who was a well known 19th century magician and the head of the Order of the Golden Dawn. The ancient manuscripts were found in the British Museum and are the actual words and instructions of King Solomon himself.
